I am so excited for the upcoming wedding season to start and looking through all of Meggie and Robert’s photos….it just makes me happy! I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with amazing couples like these two and also the awesome vendors in our area are second to none! Meggie and Robert had a gorgeous fall wedding at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church and the reception followed at Trapper’s Turn In Wisconsin Dells. I know both of their families (Meggie’s Dad and my Dad are BFF’s) and I also was the photographer for Robert’s brother’s wedding and have know many of the wedding party for years:) It made it even more special for me as I felt like a dear family friend, and not just the photographer.
As you can see, these two have amazing style and chemistry. From the guys classic gray suits to the textured, mismatched bridesmaid dresses and Meggie’s stunning lace bridal gown by Madison James, I was in heaven with all of the details and the vibe of the whole day. The couple decided to do a first look which gave us some time before the ceremony to take pictures at one of my favorite locations along the Wisconsin River. Robert was in awe of his beautiful bride, and there were so many photos from the day that he kept that same look….you can tell these two adore one another.
The two tied the knot with a Catholic ceremony at St. Cecilia’s in Wisconsin Dells and then we headed to Robert’s parents house to take photos. Such a gorgeous location with weeping willows, perfectly landscaped grounds and the cutest coral potting house that looked like it was made just for the wedding!
Fiorella Neria of Neria event group transformed Trapper’s Turn and it was amazing. She nailed the couple’s vision and every guest that I talked to was commenting on how beautiful it was. You are a rock star Fi! Lots of toasts, or Nostrovias!!! laughs, and SO MUCH DANCING! Robert’s family is Polish, and man – do they know how to party!!!
